Well, we seem to have one more vote for double n.

Michael Kemp referred to his collected editions of "The Scarborian." In my own extremely small collection, I have the 1957 edition, in which there are five farewells to F. Clarke -- by Vernon Smith, Kenneth Fearnside, Geoffrey Wilson, Noel Wright and David McLintock -- none of which uses the double-n spelling. As Michael suggested, that may possibly be the result of Biff Smith exercising his editorial prerogative.

I intend, of course, to stubbornly continue to refer to him as Bonn, rather than as Bon.
